Our Assemblies of God pioneers were burdened for the lost. None had welath or status, but all had a burning desire for world evangelization. Despite hardships each generation in the 96 years has embraced this heritage and continued to pray fervantly and give sacrificially to missions. Lady Lake Assembly of God has also embraced the burning desire for world evangelization.

This year's theme, All Generations, is at the heart of who we are at Lady Lake Assembly of God. I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations(Psalm 89:1).

It's all about souls! And the need to tell this generation about Jesus is as great today, if not greater, than ever before.

As a nation, we are facing challenges in this second decade of the 21st century that are different in some ways than those of previous generations. Two things remain constant: People are still lost without Christ, and God is still in the business of rescuing people from the domain of darkness and transferring them to the Kingdom of God's beloved Son. (Colossians 1:13)

The apsotle Paul said that people will not know of Christ unless someone is sent to tell them. Lady Lake Assembly of God believers have taken Paul's words to heart. The partners with missionaries to make it possible for them to take the Gospel to those who have never heard.

Our mandate to reach all generations with the Gospel remains the same as it was in 1997 when the church started. Statisticians tell us that about 4.4 billion people are yet without Christ. Until Jesus comes, we commit ourselves to following David's admonition to make God's faithfulness known through all generations. (Psalm 89:11)
